Al-Walidein Mosque, Brasilia

Alwalidein Mosque is located in the city of Taguatinga in Brazil. It operates in a residential building that has been renovated and adapted for its new function. As it was not built with the purpose of being a mosque, it has no aesthetic elements that could identify it as such.

The inauguration of this new mosque was a great achievement for the Islamic community in the Federal District, as it shows its advancement and growth in our territory. Today Islam is the second fastest growing religion in Brazil, and the proof is there, one more mosque in Brazil, completing now two mosques in the Federal District, one in Brasilia (the capital) and the other now in Taguatinga.
